The List.
Where names are real and clocks are running.
This is what it looks like inside.
What you're seeing here is a rescue pull. A family split across kennel runs in a facility that doesn't track who belongs to whom. This footage is not exceptional — but it’s real. That's the point.
Every animal here carries a name, a deadline, and a path you can follow — rescue or kill. We record both. This space holds the record exactly as it happens.
Right now, this is how it works.
An animal is brought to a high-kill shelter and deadlined. Volunteers and networkers scramble across platforms, cross-posting into the void. People share and pledge for some of them but not always it is known whether a rescue is committing, and a foster or adopter has been found. The clock runs out while the thread is still growing.
This is what it looks like when the chain exists.
The moment an animal is deadlined, the foster or adopter has already been screened, and the rescue confirmed their backing. Transport is taken care of before the pull. The animal moves from kennel to safety on a path that was built before everything else happened, not improvised.
The chain between those two realities is what we're building right now.
This system doesn't run on intention. It runs on infrastructure — and infrastructure takes people. Every animal screened at the shelter, every foster and adopter vetted, every shelter call, every transport coordination, every post and every update on this page exists because someone decided to be part of the response, not just the reaction..
Not a spectator. A link in the chain.
